If you pay close attention to the news – it doesn’t even need to be that close – you will find that technology help us get through our daily routines in ways that we don’t even realize it is there. This is exactly what happened to my Breville BJE510XL – one of my favorite juicers BTW - after its latest technology development (more about that below). But that is exactly the way good technology should act: it must help us as much as possible with the less interference in our lives.
The less we are required to make something work, the better.
It is possible to experience this first hand during many of our daily activities, whether you are using your mobile to pay for a wine that you have saved using a nice little iPhone app and which you are now showing to the teller or using your tablet to check and find the best restaurant on-the-go, there are many ways on how you can use technology these days to enhance your life.
One example which I saw last week happened when I was using an old juicer of mine to make some delicious juices. I have been using this juicer for many years now and never had a problem with it. Until a friend of mine showed me what his Breville juicer is able to do.
With a new technology recently developed, this juicer not only enables you to extract juice around 30% more than other juicers, but it also consumes less energy. I find that is incredible.
How about a car which uses air to power up its engine and then after using it, returns the air CLEANER than it was when it got in!? Yes, this is possible today.
Those are only some small examples of how technology is getting into our lives day after day. I believe this is a good thing and we shall embrace this move with an open mind to ensure that we make the most out of it.
