If you were asked what your favorite piece of tech has been this year what would it be? For us there is one particular piece of technology that is improving year on year and that is the e cigarette. As we all know there are hundreds of cool technologies coming out every year, unfortunately for us many of these products don’t live up to the hype they are launched with. Every now and then though you do come across something that makes you pay attention.
This to me as a smoker, is one of those devices, something that I just couldn’t ignore. It is one of the only realistic alternatives for many people looking to stop smoking tobacco cigarettes. Yes, there are patches, books, hypnotherapy and gum but for many who have tried these they just do not work.
Not to say that every e cigarette is a winner, far from it! There is a lot of rubbish out there as with any piece of technology that starts to become more popular by the day, this is to be expected. Just be careful what you decide to buy and do your homework before making any decisions, look for companies that have a history and continue to invest in new technology and you will be ok.
The e cigarette has the potential to be one of the most important products in recent years and should be looked at seriously by all tobacco smokers as a real alternative. Of course it has its critics as would any kind of device of this nature but it also has a lot of support from many qualified people so hopefully it will catch on and continue to change lives.
